Join us online on 19 November 2026 at 6:30 PM for the masterclass with designer Francesca Sarti “Future frugal – Crafting conviviality in a new age of scarcity”. An event hosted by IED Barcelona as part of Feed Your Future.
Francesca Sarti
Francesca Sarti is an architect, creative consultant strategist, and curator. In 2001, she founded Arabeschi di Latte, a pioneering studio that uses food as a critical lens to explore contemporary rituals, domestic geographies, and the social architecture of conviviality. Her multidisciplinary work ranges from immersive, site-specific installations for museums and galleries such as La Triennale Milano, the Serpentine Galleries, and MUDAM Luxembourg, to collaborations with brands like Hermès, Fendi, and Aesop.
Alongside her creative practice, she lectures and leads courses and workshops at universities and cultural institutions internationally. Across these contexts, Sarti uses design as a tool for critical and creative thinking, developing concepts that connect rituals, memory, and collective experience.
